  • Willing and able to receive injections
  • Drug, nicotine, and smoke-free lifestyle

How much do egg donors get paid?

The pay of egg donors who donate at Simple Steps Fertility is generous and in line with the reward you deserve for bringing the gift of fertility into a new family’s life. Previous donors through our agency have used their compensation to pay down student loans, travel the world, put a down payment on a house or car, or leave a legacy for a family member.

We’ll explain the compensation details before you decide to move forward, so you’ll know exactly what to expect.

How long does the egg donation process take?

Once you are selected by an intended parent, the egg donation process typically takes 6 to 8 weeks to complete.

During that time, you’ll complete your medical and psychological screening, attend several monitoring appointments, take fertility medications for approximately 10 to 14 days, and undergo the egg retrieval procedure.

The retrieval itself is an outpatient procedure that usually takes less than 30 minutes, and most donors return to their normal activities within a day or two.

Your dedicated coordinator will guide you through each step, help schedule your appointments, and make sure you know what to expect throughout the process.

Does donating eggs affect my future fertility?

Current research shows that egg donation does not reduce your future fertility. During a donation cycle, fertility medications help mature multiple eggs that your body would naturally lose during that month anyway.

Your fertility specialist will discuss any potential risks before you begin treatment.

Can I donate eggs more than once?

Yes. If you’re healthy and continue to meet the program requirements, you may be able to donate eggs more than once.

The American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) recommends that a woman complete no more than six egg donation cycles in her lifetime. This guideline is designed to help protect the health and well-being of egg donors.

If you’re interested in donating again after a successful cycle, your coordinator can discuss your eligibility and the appropriate timing for a future donation.
